Blueprint Energy Solutions is currently offering Internships. We are also looking for and a Junior Analyst / Consultant to join our Energy and Utilities Practice that will help clients undergo effective change management to help grow and improve their business through advanced technology and processes. You will also be an integral part of our international team that helps shape our office culture and you will be provided opportunities to respond to the strategic business challenges of our clients, as well as identify, shape and deliver high value smart grid and digital transformation programs. We look forward to students and candidates that have experience in energy industry in Austria.

We help clients facilitate smart grid development and efficient, productive operations by:

Creating a Smart Grid Architecture Framework, Data Maturity Assessment and Digital Transformation road map
Creating innovative pilots for energy and utility companies
Preparing financial, project management, and smart grid metrics for Federal agencies
Facilitating customer awareness through demand-side management and customer education and outreach
Meting Cyber Security requirements while minimizing integration costs and maximizing flexibility
Transforming center operations
Designing and implementing future-oriented IT and infrastructure solutions
Assessing the IT and operations aspects
Establishing green IT strategies
Enhancing business intelligence and reporting capabilities

Internships

Project Scoping:

Collaborate with Blueprint experts in preparation of proposals for commercial projects and grant applications (H2020, FFG, etc) in the domain of smart grids, demand response, energy efficiency
Support detailed requirements gathering
Participate events – international conferences, task force expert groups and other knowledge building and exchange events
Interface with all levels of management both internally and at client sites

Job Description:

Analysts/Consultants at Blueprint Energy Solutions have these primary responsibilities

Project Delivery:

Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models

Business and Practice Development:

Participate in the business development process by assisting in the development of project approaches and proposals
Participate in the practice development process by assisting in the development of tools, methodologies and techniques used by Blueprint Energy Solutions in client assignments

We are hiring for both full and part time position. Due to international aspect of Blueprint project team candidate may work remotely with expectation to participate meetings in Vienna minimum two times a month.

Qualifications for Analyst/Consultant role:

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Information Systems)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a team-based professional environment
Demonstrated success in both project management and analysis
Interest in the entrepreneurial opportunity
Experience in developing work plans, proposal preparations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a virtual teams environment
Good interpersonal, written and oral communications and customer relations skills
Fluent German and English
Austrian residence is an advantage
